Challenge
Product Reinvention
At the start of cooperation, the company already had an MVP of the product and also collected feedback from users, which revealed a number of problems that required reworking of the product, adaptation of the brand for digital use, detailed interaction design of key usage scenarios, creation of a design system for scaling the product into an eco-system of products.
Role
Unlock potential
Using the collected data on the current version of the product and user feedback, together with the client's team, it was necessary to conduct a full analysis of the existing MVP, formulate key problems, rework and improve the user experience for all types of users and their main use cases, develop a solution for all types of devices, and adapt the corporate style for use in digital environments.
As a result, the design of the main flight planning product was created, and a design system and a set of design principles were developed, which subsequently allowed partner companies to develop a full cycle of ecosystem products.

Research
Users in portraits
Creating user personas was pivotal in redefining our MVP. By deeply understanding our target users' goals, frustrations, and behaviors, we were able to pinpoint key areas for product improvement. These insights informed every design decision, from information architecture to interaction design, ensuring the product resonated with our users on a deeper level.
Personas helped us create a truly user-centric product experience.
User Experience
Scenarios
Throughout the entire cycle of thinking through, creating, booking, and servicing a flight or flight sequence, each type of user has its own characteristics and approaches to the workflow, the frequency of performing certain operations, and logic. By combining this information into a comprehensive pool of requirements, an approach was formed to each of the key scenarios in using the key features of the product, making them powerful tools for solving user problems efficiently.
Trip Builder
A powerful tool for creating a trip based on a pool of client request parameters.
Airport Search
Selecting an airport interface based on the airport's location, parameters and capabilities.
Pricing
Selection of flight options, creation of price components and offers.
Fleet management
Detailed information about the flight fleet, selection, and editing of the aircraft database.
Trip Planner
The workspace for coordinating and managing all aspects of the client's business trips.
Proposal Generator
Formation of a commercial proposal for organizing a flight with a choice of options.
User Experience
User-Experience Design Process
User experience design was integral to the product's development lifecycle. Iterative prototyping and usability testing were employed to refine the interface and ensure intuitive interactions. Through this user-centered approach, we successfully developed a product that not only met functional requirements but also delivered a seamless and enjoyable user experience.
User Interface
Trip Planner
Trip Planner is a comprehensive tool designed to streamline the entire process of business travel management. From initiating trip requests to managing itineraries and evaluating proposals. The executive assistant can efficiently coordinate travel arrangements, ensuring that your executive has a productive and enjoyable experience.
User Interface
Trip builder
Trip Builder feature automates the creation of detailed and customized quotes based on incoming requests. By applying unique business rules to each operator and considering multiple aircraft options, the system swiftly generates feasible and profitable trip proposals, optimizing sales efforts.
User Interface
Airport Search
Airport Search is a critical component of the system, leveraging a comprehensive dataset that includes FAA, AcuKwik, and other navigational data sources. This information empowers users to efficiently locate airports and access associated details such as on-airport services, local amenities, transportation options, and contact information. By centralizing airport data, the system streamlines planning and scheduling processes for users, serving as a foundation for broader functionalities like trip management.
User Interface
Pricing
The pricing feature allows users to view, create, and manage pricing components. Users can see a comprehensive overview of existing components, including their conditions and outputs. To create a new component, users define its type, effectivity, conditions, and outputs. The system validates input data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Components can be saved or discarded as needed, providing flexibility in price management.
User Interface
Proposal generator
The proposal generator streamlines the creation of customized proposals by allowing users to quickly add recipients, select trip details, and configure proposal content. Users can easily incorporate various options, including itineraries, aircraft specifications, amenities, pricing, and terms, into their proposals. The system offers flexibility by enabling users to include additional notes for clarification. Once complete, proposals can be sent directly to recipients, or users can explore further options for refinement.
Responsive Design
Web, Mobile, Tablet
The product was designed with a responsive interface to ensure optimal usability across a range of devices, from desktops to tablets and smartphones. This adaptability allows users to access and utilize the platform seamlessly, regardless of their preferred device, enhancing productivity and efficiency in managing requests.

User experience validation
To ensure the platform consistently met the evolving needs of business aviation clients, we employed a rigorous user-centric approach. Each stage of feature evolution, from the initial to the publishing stage, was accompanied by comprehensive user experience testing. By gathering feedback we iteratively refined the platform, optimizing functionalities like quoting, planning, scheduling, sourcing, and analytics. This commitment to user-centered design has been instrumental in the platform's success.

Assets
Design system
The client had a corporate style, a basic set of assets, but all of this required reworking, adaptation for use in digital environments, reorganization and creation of a powerful functional library. It was also necessary to create a detailed guide for creating products using the design system. Using the library and guide, Stellar partner companies created other products of the flight eco-system.
